It instantly became my avatar as it contained some of my passions all at once: love for cats, the fascination with Japanese art, my predilection for tattoos.
After a while I became curious and wanted to learn more, as the picture was really inspiring.
I discovered Horitomo and his style, his aim to combine his passions and create, thanks to his gifted hand, beautifully drawn old-style cats decorated with miniatures of classic japanese style tattoos.
The artist is also a master in Tebori, the traditional method of Japanese manual tattooing. This is appreciated by many because creates subtle gradations of shades, difficult to obtain with the machine.
